IT Manager - Saleztrack

April 2005 - April 2009

 

In April of 2005, I joined Saleztrack as their 3rd full-time employee. In conjunction with the the CEO (also the sales leader and marketing leader), I worked with our CTO (also the software engineer and database administrator) to support the growing customer base.  Originally the main product was a Server-Client CRM for auto dealerships the integrated with their DMS of choice.  In 2008, we launched a new product that was inovative at the time as it was an early Web 2.0 product or more known as SaaS in today's world.  It was a CRM for handling web leads for auto dealerships and a backend marketing product.  In addition to support the software, I also handled marketing campaigns, on-site implementations, account management, and product development.  Unfortunately, the 2008 economic downturn which was especially hard on the the Auto Industry ended my time with Saleztrack and the company itself.

 

Below are some of the main responsibilities during this time:

 

  • Part of the team that developed the functional design for a $500,000 CRM and e-Marketing solution

  • Designed, documented, and implemented new product functionality with multiple global teams

  • Managed vendor relations, vendor reviews, and company inventory

  • Managed and created the procedures product testing, deployment, and training

  • Responsible for 24/7 technical support, installing patches and upgrades

  • Performed in-house Network Administration

  • Technical writer for system functionality and testing scenarios for software products
